Can You Put a Number on Creativity?

One researcher gave four AI models — BingAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, and HuggingChat — the same 35 creative-writing prompts and built a math framework to score their creativity across five dimensions. The surprise: no single model won. Each was creative in a different way, which flips the question from “is AI creative?” to “creative at what, for which task?” — and puts authorship, jobs, and bias on the scoreboard too.
